The Munnar Queen

Had a wonderful stay at Munnar Queen. Not only the physical amenities that make u feel comfortable but the staff is also very courteous and humble. Specially dining area manager Mr Silij and the chef Abhilash were amazing people. They made us feel at home!

I picked this hotel after discussion with Vinod 09447440414 from "Happy Days Tours & Travels" by just seeing the photos for a package which includes both Breakfast & Dinner. Check in is from 1 PM and Check out at 11 AM. Due to Covid 19 restrictions and less occupancy, Dinner & Breakfast was Ala carte with minimum menu which was a let down initially but they are willing to accommodate things to the extent possible which are not there in the menu too which is a huge relief. The quality of food served is very good & met my expectations. Swimming Pool is available from 7:45 AM to 7 PM with Nylon clothes preferred (carry own since hotel doesn't have any). Candle Light Dinner is a delightful experience at the rooftop. I would like to thank specially Firdhose, Tushar, Silj, Abhilash, Allen for making our stay memorable & wonderful. The hospitality was excellent 😊.

Stay with my family comprising of my wife, daughter, son in law and my son during October 2021 Dipali holidays. We have been welcomed with hot tea and snacks was very nice. We took 2 rooms facing the misty valley which is a unique experience. The morning rays of sun could not reach our balcony due to thick fog. I started my day with a morning walk in the foggy weather. Nice choice of breakfast with a blend of North & South Indian menu. The Office staff was so co-operative and restaurant staff was so hospitality bothered.. Nice food menu.. Thanks to the Chef. Recreation room was well equipped.. Overall it was a nice stay and we plans to visit Queen Munnar once again. Thank you Ramesh Gopi

This hotel is a good budget say. Location is before Munnar town (From Kochi side) around 20 mins drive to Town. Pros - Well Maintained and good staff - Food at Restaurant is good. [Night Buffet, 2 Non Veg + 4 veg options, 2 rice options and chapati / Parotta)] . Breakfast also good.. Different Menu every day What all provided is of good taste - Even though there is no walking space around the resort, They managed to have kids play area / recreation at Terrace which is good - Activity room is also there for few indoor games - Every day Campfire is provided - Pool area is good, Well maintained and good view - Rooms / Bathroom is clean, but still there is scope of improvement - Parking is a bit messy. But Security will take care of wallet parking. Especially less experienced drivers will have tough time - Hotel will arrange Jeep Safari if needed. But if you enquire outside you may get cheaper rate Cons - When we stayed Lifts operating from 4th to 6 th floor (pool area) was not functional. Hope they may fix it soon

The location of resort is almost on a hilltop. The view from the rooftop is quite amazing. I had travellled there during the month of October. The climate was fabulous with slight drizzle and heavy fog. There is a rooftop swimming pool with access time from 7am to 7pm. Pool towels are provided on request. There is a restaurant in the first floor. Breakfast is buffet and they have quite a tasty variety to choose from. The rooms are neat and clean. The rooms are having front facing balconies with access through sliding glass door. There is a coffee maker provided in the room. The resort is equipped with a recreation room and a badminton court too. There is a seperate children's play area with a small slide and merry-go-round. Few points i have noticed during my stay 1. Since there is a coffee maker in the room, its better to make coffee or tea yourself with the same, instead of ordering from the restaurant. Both tastes almost same by the way. To be frank , the coffee is quite overpriced for its taste and quality. 2. The recreation room is having a foos ball setup , a carrom board, and a ping pong table. Sadly most of the stuff were either damaged by the previous guests or the items were not well maintained by the staff. I wish the items in the recreation room were given a bit more importance. ( Carrom coins missing, ping pong ball missing, foosball handles damaged.) Even though its not a point of importance, some guests might take this seriously. 3. Foul smell was emanating from the bathroom drains, even though the bathroom was neat and clean.
