Grandeur At Its BestVikas K FamilyDec 30,2021This is a palace with a rich history showcased so beautifully. Every inch of this place is carefully preserved for guests like us to sink into its grandness. Woodville palace is not a hotel, is not a resort. Its an grand abode where one feels being a part of history. Humble rooms, amazing in-house restaurant, very polite management, delicious food, architecture like none other.

Heritage property amongst lawns and greenravijit cMar 11,2020We stayed for two nights in the Imperial room at this property. What we liked? The large gardens and car parking space, difficult to come across in Simla, the quiet, the ambience, comfort, food, courteous service and the fact that while the property is in a serene part of Simla, it is a comfortable 15-25 mins walk to the beginning of the Mall. It was a walk we enjoyed. While at Woodville, spend time in the Hollywood bar and the Tiger lounge before you dine. The corridors across floors are full of sepia and colour pictures that transport you to the past. The Garden restaurant is a glass house on a lower level lawn. It looks beautiful but we were told it opens for service only during the tourist season. May might be a good time to visit again.
