It's a very beautiful resort, you get to reconnect with nature's silence and relax your mind. The hospitality is very warm and welcoming thus made the stay more memorable. Would surely like to visit again.

I had visited the property with my wife for a quick two day holiday. It’s easy to find once you enter Thekkady with google maps. You’ll be welcomed by a beautiful bridge to the reception which will isn’t any give you this warm and cozy feel. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but are maintained really well. The linen was fresh and clean. The toilets were impeccable. Pros - The staff were amazing. They are very informative and literally go out of the way to help you out. The property is very well maintained and has this serene atmosphere within the wilderness. The location is very close to the town and major tourist spots. The quality of the food was good and they serve it in your rooms. Cons - The variety offered on food could have been better. The rooms could be upgraded with safety lockers and safer door locks. On the whole it was a wonderful escape for three days.

Living was comfortable and they made sure to maintain the standards. Highly recommendable to couples and family And specially who seeks to find peace. I would like to specially mention about the staff who made the entire stay comfortable and unforgettable.

The access road to the resort is unspeakable with very rough random stones on the unpaved road pose serious threat to the underside and tyres of cars. There is very limited parking space available. The entrance has a long wooden bridge which makes the entrance attractive. Below the bridge we see a small artificial water body and some birds kept there. The staff at the reception are pleasant and helpful. The hotel has limited local vehicle service and the visitor ideally need to depend on own vehicles to move around. The resort has a good layout and the rooms with all modern amenities inside is located in such a way that you stay there in sync with nature. The restaurant is quite good with nice arrangement. The chef has an interesting system of preparing warm drinks like coffee, tea etc only on receiving the order so that the same can be served in warm conditions (since the ambient temperature is too low for most of the time). There is a good walking trail within the property which is pleasant, refreshing and energising. The rent appears a but too high for the facilities

What I liked : Location Property is really blending with nature. Heritage touch. Staff Private pool villa Breakfast Table and chairs made of rock, swing, library What i didn't like: Toilet doors were too much heritage, sometimes , it was difficult to keep it closed. Properly area is so less. Nothing to explore. Cardamom plantation tour should be complimentary just like the breakfast. Its sad to say that, i didn't see life cycle of a cardamom after staying in a cardamom plantation. We stayed in a different property for one night after staying here. That property per night rent was much cheaper than the rooms of here and we got a better experience there.
