Hotel Janak Niwas

Had a really awesome time at Janak niwas last weekend. I highly recommend it to be honest. Staff and service was too good. Thank you for having us for your friendly assistance and hospitality and for serving us with your best. We will definitely head back next time when we come.

If you are looking for a place with the best hospitality then this is the place! Even before we reached the hotel, we connected very well with the owner. The owner Shiv and his team go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. A very positive atmosphere and a homely feeling. The hotel is very close to all the attractions. Most are walking distance. If you have elderly people you even have the option of autos which cost you about 100-150. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop with an amazing view of City Palace. The rooms are neat and clean. You get basic breakfast but really good! All in all a budget friendly place, convenient and really worthed!

Travelled to Udaipur with 8 family members and was looking for a budget accommodation with easy access to the tourist spots. We came across Janak Niwas while researching and contacted Shiv Ji ( owner of the property) who was very friendly and accomodating. He is an artist by profession where he runs an art studio which offers painting, nail art, yoga, etc. He shared a video of the rooms thru whatsapp before confirmation. The hotel is a 3 floor hotel with 12 rooms. Since it's an old property it does not have a lift however Shivji was kind enough to accommodate my parents on the first floor to avoid climbing. The rooms are basic but comfortable with clean bedsheets and 24 hrs hot water. The location is walking distance to the main attractions- City Palace, Jagdish temple, Gangaur Ghat. Mr Shiv and his brother Mr Pinku are very helpful. They arranged autos, offered us good suggestions for eating out. Pinkuji also helped us with the RTPCR report for my cousin. They also have a rooftop restruant with a good view of the city palace. We had a simple breakfast daily at the hotel which was prepared well by the hotel boys Kamlesh and Suresh. Overall a must recommended place if you are looking for a budget stay with a home like experience and good conversations Tip_ If you are traveling with senior citizens autos can be arranged till the hotel. Most of them charge Rs.150 during season time for 4 members with one person sitting in the front. This is convenient since the roads are narrow with slopes at most places

The place is very nice. Staff is good to and helpful . Location is osm. Every this is good. And mostly places is near by hotel which is very good to explore the city. And food is so tasty. We enjoy every day.

The staff, rooms, service was all up to the mark overall it was a very good experience. The Receptionist of this hotel was as professional as they come he was humble and potlite the cafe was also pretty good.
