Dream Heaven Haweli Resort

I did work from Udaipur this week with my friends from Udaipur. We stayed in Dream Heaven Haveli. The food was the best I had in the city the cook was very hardworking and good. I just had to tell him when and what was needed and it was ready. It felt like home as it was very convenient. The owner is a amazing person and the rates were also friendly and within the budget. This was the best location on can get in the whole city with proper old Rajasthani architecture and comfort.

Superb place, with perfect location, great service, food was amazing perfect place for family as well as for couples , we have amazing lake view from our room...100% satisfy...thanks to hotel dream heaven haveli (lake view) Really enjoyed alot

This was our second time visiting the hotel having first visited five years ago previously and I have to say WHAT a holiday! The highlights firstly the customer service, all the staff are SO helpful, always smiling, so kind, really keen to help you and go out of their way for you. We loved the afternoon tea, big applause for the staff who serve the afternoon tea, they were very informative, explained all the teas, they kept asking if there was anything they could bring! The Macarons were delicious and the entire set up was on par with what I have experienced at the The High Tea at the Ritz in London. The staff at the heated pool were really wonderful, serving fruits, snacks and drinks - they ensured we were well looked after. Also a special shoutout to Noura and the entertainment team, she would always let us know what events were happening, encouraging us to attend and join in and a really warm and happy person! Stay as you are! The buggy drivers around the resort were absolutely wonderful, constantly happy and making conversation with us. Special shoutout to Ahmed Saleh and Mohammed Abu Ali. They were sooo kind and always offered to help us - they are such an asset to the hotel! Wonderful people! All the restaurant staff especially Omar and team in the main buffet restaurant provided the most amazing service! It is clear there is so much hard work and effort that goes on behind the scene and everything is perfect! The food is amazing and there is so much choice. I would even go as far to say it is michelin star quality. We never ate at the same restaurant twice as there was so many a la carte options and different cuisines and we wanted to try them all! I also had a photo session with the hotels photographer Alex. I have to say his work is fantastic, the photos were amazing and the price was very reasonable for the standard and quality of photos. All in all you will not regret visiting this hotel. There is soo much to do and it is everything you can ask for on a 5 star getaway. We went over the Christmas period and we already plan to go back next year!!

I loved this little family run hotel overlooking Lake Pichola in the very heart of the Old City. I doubt any of the 5 star hotels could rival the view or the warm welcome and care from the staff. The bed was big and comfortable and the views from it were so stunning I never closed my windows or doors at night. Each morning and evening the ladies at the temple below my balcony played their bells. Baby monkeys played for hours on the temple roof and old men practised yoga in the courtyard.Wedding processions made their way riotously round the lake at night... Real coffee in the mornings and cold beer in the evenings.... What's not to like? Thankyou Adeep and team. I will be back!

I chose this place based on trip advisor reviews but something must have happened during covid because my experience does not match up with pre covid reviews. I paid extra for a delux room but this wasn't delux by anyone's standards. There was mould on the wall, the sheets were too small for the bed, the bathroom was pretty rusty and there was only one working plug socket half way up a wall that fizzed when you plugged anything into it. There was just one super bright strip light in the room, with the switch the other end of the room from the bed, there were only net curtains on the windows which didn't block out any light. Only one small towel provided and most places do provide toilet roll for westerners but not here. I didn't feel it was good value for the price I paid. yes you get a good view of the lake but I would still say it was overpriced. Online it is known as dream heaven haveli but locally as dream heaven guesthouse, perhaps if I hadn't booked online I would have got a much better price.
