It was an excellent stay. I personally love this guest house. It was my 2nd visit to this guest house and it never disappointed me in any way. Very clean as always, good spacious room and a very friendly owner and helpful staffs. Good luck to kB homes. Hoping to visit again soon.

The Hotel is a cheat...I had a early morning check out, was overcharged for food items which I never ordered. Crooks, pathetic room service. Spoke to Shankar Ghosh, Exe-chef, who committed to refund the excess charged amount over WhatsApp but later backed out....wonder how they are still in business.

Excellent location. Neat and clean hotel. Rooms are comparatively bigger than other hotels of same category. Excellent food. Great services. Booked thrice this hotel and will book again for my next visit.

Descent hotel. Staff are ok. Try to take backside room it will be less noisy. Food is good. And transportation is available. Brandnew hotel so everything is neat and clean. Will stay for next time also.

The Umal Homestay is an excellent property -well maintained and clean. The service staff at the homestay are far more professional than what you would find at any comparable hotel. Food is delish and rooms are spacious. This was the perfect choice for our one night stay in Guwahati. Definitely coming back again!! Book without thinking twice😀

Central location at Guwahati's main street, this hotel is a great business hotel. I was here to cover the north east festival in jan 2022. The lobby has some interesting artworks and the food restaurant is very popular for dinner and lunch. The breakfast was below average, and staff is a bit slow so that can be worked on. It was an overall decent stay, and some food items were very good. The views are not great as it's the main city, but very accessible to local touristy spots. Staff speaks in English and hindi as well.
