This was my second consecutive visit, I was little concerned as by booking was after two days from the date We reached Kolkata. As I was going to Jamshedpur to visit my in-laws, however last moment I thought that instead of carrying all the luggage to and fro in Jamshedpur to leave them @ hotel. So I got intouch with Mr.Sandeep Chakraborty whom I explained my situation, he immediately took initiative not only to arrange in keeping my stuff but also very promptly arranged for a car for my pickup from the airport. Trust me that not only ease my travel as I was travelling with my wife and my daughter who is 4 years, it also saved the hassle of looking for a cab at the airport, firstly it was during Durga Puja, secondly I reached Kolkata at 3 am in the morning. And now coming to the stay it was also wonderful all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is also very nice from here communicating to any part of Kolkata is not a problem ( metro is just a minute walk). And if you want to grab delicious food , then all the famous restaurants are in a proximity of 10 minutes. So according to me it’s a very good experience staying in this property, I prefer this if I’m in Kolkata. Thanks

Stayed at the Aqua Villa last weekend with friends. Each villa has a rooftop pool and a big living area, besides the four rooms. Every room has an attached bathroom with bathtubs. Our lunch at Bhoomi, the Bengali restaurant was fantastic. Very satisfied with the hygiene standards being maintained at the property. Sanitization stations have been installed at all points. As all the villas are mostly individual units in themselves, social distancing is automatically maintained at the resorts, making this an excellent choice for a weekend gateway. Tip: For people trying to avoid the rush at breakfast should try not to be very late, as most guests come for breakfast post 9 am.

A MUST VISIT of Kolkata: . So I have been to almost each & every top hotels of Kolkata in last few weeks. Some of them gave me some unexpected awful experiences, which was definitely not expected from the so called famous brands. But the experience we had in Oberoi Grand Kolkata was something that can not be described in words. . The Oberoi Grand Kolkata is a huge and grand property situated at Esplanade, in the heart of the city . It was established in the British era and reflects the heritage of Bengal so well. . Now comes their hospitality. Starting from their warmest welcome to greetings in their restaurants, from the hotel mananger to their chefs and housekeeping each and every staffs were so warm. Every time they interacted with us they made sure that the greetings been so lively and we felt like home. In restaurant there was always someone to watch if we were having some discomfort or not during dining. . There were some subtle yet impressive things occurred that I would like to share. I was trying some Thai dishes in my dinner. While having the soup, I was continuously wiping my lips after every sip with the towel covering the cutlery sets. And they instantly provided me a box of tissue papers so that it would had been easier to me. Here is some another incident touched my heart. Before going out for shopping I instructed them to clean up my room. My own facewash was on the bed and that had quite good quantity , but after coming back I found a note for me. The person was kind enough to provide me a new facewash of same company as he has noticed mine was about to finish. . Now comes their presentation of in room dining. That was absolutely much impressive . And the foods were really lip smacking. The Thai dishes as well as the indian dishes were too good in taste. . Most importantly they are maintaining their standard service amidst this pandemic also. And unlike other hotels they are maintaining their pool as well. (Though the pool is not for the use as of now.) . The ambiance is so soothing in spite of being situated admidst new market area. . So I couldn’t resist myself from revisiting the place & enjoy some more days in their soothing atmosphere.

Had booked a Premium Suite to celebrate the anniversary of my parents. Was upgraded to the Grand Luxury Suite absolutely free of cost. Kudos to the hotel staff who were working tirelessly to keep the guests safe in the pandemic. In-room dining was average since there was limited options available and some food items appeared stale. Prompt service and staff were eager to help. The suite was maintained properly and the sheer opulence was amazing to experience. Will visit again and definitely recommend it for all and sundry! An affair to remember!
