Travelled after 30 years and found such a amazing place to stay. staff was too gud and location is awesome. Specially Nisha at reception help us a lot to settle and get best package for our stay. One thing I would like to request for addition of dormitory for drivers.Breakfast was delicious.

Great stay, it was exemplary. spelbinding. i never expected such a surprise. Location is okay. tea estate very close by. River also. staffs are cordial. tough roads to reach, 11 kms from darjeeling. all good.

Me and my sister stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. We had requested for deluxe room with view, and we were happy that hotel obliged. The kanchenjunga view from the room was mind blowing.. Early morning the view was spectacular.. The food and service was too good. It is 10 min Walking distance from Mall road. We could view the train station also from our room. Overall an amazing experience. Truly worth the money, very affordable too. The staff was very friendly and caring. Would highly recommend this hotel. 👍

Well, this property is one of the best in Darjeeling, the location is perfect just opposite to the steam locomotive shed and just a few meters away from Darjeeling train station. The location of this property enables one to visit the main market area easily by just taking a walk. The staff of the hotel were nice and helpful. We also ordered food from the room service. The food was great. The house keeping staff is also excellent and they will keep your room neat and tidy. I would recommend this hotel over other highly priced ones.

"We stayed at Hotel Sonar Bangla on our trip to Darjeeling and it was great. A nice cosy hotel which was located in the city center. A very convenient location because all the attractions were at a walking distance. Very budget friendly hotel with decent rooms and a good breakfast spread. The staff were very nice and friendly, esp. Ramesh and free breakfast served in the room itself, was great. The manager Mr Banerjee was very cooperative. The duplex Room was perfect for myself and my wife. Our room faced the mountainview. Enjoyed staying there. Would definite stay here again!"

We Chose the Kanchenjunga view room,our room were upgraded with the Balcony as per our request,room no 604 has a amazing view. The service was very good & quick staff were very nice & polite. The reception lobby is also very nice & gives you a very antique feelings. Food is beyond our expectations it's amazing, Thanks to hotel staff & Manager Reshma for the hospitality it was really home away from home. Gonna visit soon
