We took a two-week work + vacay staycation in Goa during the last two weeks of December. We stayed the first week in South Goa near the Palolem beach and then for the next week we moved to Candolim, North Goa at Aldeia Santa Rita right next to King's villa on the Aguada-Siolim road with a short walk to the beach. This resort had several Portuguese styled colourful Villas, broken out into multiple rooms in each villa across 2 floors. The reception area was right at the end of the hotel, so we had to walk dragging our luggage but were able to check-in smoothly as we had just arrived around 2pm which was their check-in time. They mentioned that the room was still not ready and asked us to wait but within 15 minutes we were escorted to our room. We had booked the basic Standard Room which was obviously not pool facing and was right near the restaurant which saved us a walk for breakfast each day. The room was decent in size with a just about comfortable bed, AC, refrigerator that was not initially working (but we got it replaced immediately) and a small kitchen area. There was a small sitting area just outside the room. The bathroom was decent with basic toiletries that were regularly replaced during daily house-keeping. The Wi-Fi was decent but there was no power backup, however, there were hardly any power cuts and hence we were never inconvenienced during our week-long stay. Breakfast was included in our package and it was a basic spread but nice and delicious with enough to eat. We could just walk across to the beach located behind the reception area or laze in the pool. The rooms, bathrooms, furniture were slightly outdated but seemed painted recently. House-keeping was done daily but we had to leave the key at the reception while going out, then only they would clean the room. We were able to arrange a bike from the nearby area which was full of shops and restaurants. Check-out process was quick and we had already arranged a cab with the bike guy a day prior and then were on our way back to the airport. Overall, the stay was decent and we enjoyed our time here, absolutely worth it even in the December peak season compared to some of the other high end hotels that we have stayed at in the past visits to Goa. Thank you Aldeia Santa Rita for the nice experience! We would definitely recommend to stay here!

Hi i am Pawan Kumawat One thing which attract me and i am happy to see that was location of this Resort . Walking distance to Candolim beach .For this i will give full marks 5/5 (a) Location is very good (b) View from balcony is good (c) Breakfast food quality is good (d) Pool experience is very good. (e) Market is near by the resort. (f) Rooms are clean. Overall everything is good. One thing i want to give the feedback not treat this as a complain that is Slight more improvement in Cleanness of Room , sufficient support staff and one phone in Room to call at reception . If these three things improve then its rating is 5 out of 5 i.e. excellent . Overall experience is very good. Support staff is cooperative. Definitely i will visit again and recommend to my friends also. Resort enviourment is user friendly.

Its a good resort at Candolim, it is bit old, the interior design of the rooms is a bit old, but it is airy and clean, food is ok. Location wise it is very nice because at Candolim beach u have lots of things to do, so you don't have to go far to enjoy the food and other activities.
