I stayed for 3 nights in a Premium room, they offered us room number 203. Room 203 & 303 are the best rooms in the hotel. The view from these rooms is amazing as you can see in the photos & videos. They provide us with free honeymoon decorations which made our stay memorable. Below are the pros & cons: Pros: - Services are excellent you'll never have to call them twice even your request is done just after putting the receiver on the phone - The view from the room was extraordinary - Cleanliness is excellent - Geyser Hairdryer and everything was working perfectly - Location is quite good just 600 meters away from Hawaghar you just have to downstairs 2 slopes & you're at HawaGhar. - Alu Parantha from the Restaurant was delicious - Staff behavior was very gentle - Our room decoration was memorable Cons: - The hotel is situated at a good height, it will cost you another 200 to 300 extra to reach there by taxi because taxis will reach there by going extra 15km otherwise you have to go to the Lift then 1 km steep walking to the hotel. You can go by Lift as well & hire a porter to get your luggage to the hotel. But still it is a good option because other nearby hotels at the mall road will cost you around 4k to 5k per room per night with the same facilities. - We found an empty beer bottle in one of the drawers but we found it at the time of check out so we didn't complain nor did we ask to clean up. Maybe housekeeping forgot to clean that drawer. Feedback for the hotel: - Lighting in the room is not satisfactory only yellowish lighting was there which I find unpleasent. there should be some white lighting as well at the sealing except this everything was good.

Beautiful hotel right at the top with perfect view of the valley. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and pretty clean. One should take buffet service here as the food out here is delicious. These guys are very helpful - Narendra Thakur, Anshul Sharma, Neeraj Sharma

We were 20 plus people stayed there for 3 days, 9 Jan till 11 Jan '2022. it was wonderful time we had, best prt of the hotel is close to The Ridge Shimla , walkind distance about 4-5 minuts . hotel has own car parking that makes you more comfortable near mall road. Best part of the hotel was its food and services, & staff also very cooperating and make you feel special all the time you are in Hotel. Mr Gaurav ( Front Office Manager ) always with smiling face , ready to serve you . Keep it up guys , we will meet you soon.

The trip was excellent and it just happened because of the amicable staff. This trip would not have been fun without Ms Anu, Mr. Dularam and Rajinder (Raju) from Funzone. They took good care of our kids and engaged them into ample activities. This is why, we got a chance to go for cycling either. The resort is growing under the guidance and supervision of resort manager Mr. Arun.

I booked this hotel for 1 night in Shimla as part of my 5 days honeymoon travel. I travelled in October month 2020, immediately after Himachal opened the tourism without COVID report and test. Lodge is much better than how it looks in photos. I booked a premium room which has separate living room and jacuzi in the bathroom. It's an old property and interiors were authentic and wood based. They had extended the interiors and made few single rooms on same floor. This lodge as famous Q-Cafe on ground floor, which serves food, and hookah. Good ambience and quality of hookas was served. It was full on weekday. This is hotel is reachable, via a steep road going down. They have decent parking space. Staff was courteous. Few points to considered : Avoid food as we didnt like it much. We ordered tea, omelette and chicken rice for dinner, which didn't do justice with the price we paid. Cafe plays loud music in the night, hence avoid rooms on ground floor If Jacuzi is your priority then ensure u call them before u check in and ask them to ensure that it's working They were courteous enough to provide me early check in.

It was my finest trip for sure. I was really very satisfied with the services and their hospitality was really appreciable. Hotel is at very good location and very astounding view of forest. It gets more relaxing with centralised heating. Food was really delicious , specially breakfast . Thanks Royale staff for making our stay comfortable. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.
