"We stayed at Hotel Sonar Bangla on our trip to Darjeeling and it was great. A nice cosy hotel which was located in the city center. A very convenient location because all the attractions were at a walking distance. Very budget friendly hotel with decent rooms and a good breakfast spread. The staff were very nice and friendly, esp. Ramesh and free breakfast served in the room itself, was great. The manager Mr Banerjee was very cooperative. The duplex Room was perfect for myself and my wife. Our room faced the mountainview. Enjoyed staying there. Would definite stay here again!"

Recently I visited Darjeeling and I srayed in Mayfair. It was a amazing experience right from day1 till we left Darjeeling. The quality of food served in Breakfast and dinner are 5 star the menu kept changing everyday making sure your taste buds gets a new experience everyday. The maintenance of the hotel is on another level.

Absolutely outstanding Resort(Hotel) Perfectly Located. Very Helpful & Friendly staff members who go above and beyond to make sure you have the Best & Memorable time. Personnel in here are very co-operative, Mr. Wang(Sr. Manager) & Mr. Nehal (Manager) was very cooperative throughout my stay. Also an excellent Food & Restaurant service by Mr. Sourav & Ms. Bhawna. And a great appreciation to all the staff members they are very Friendly in nature, so had a great time staying here. Great work. One of the best hotel experience one can ever have in Darjeeling Keep up the good work. We will definitely come back with family & friends and I would Highly Recommend this hotel. Exellent stay, beautiful ambience, staffs are very cordial and supportive...food was the added attraction. Stayed 6 nights and 7 days there and it was my 6th stay at same hotel in last 5 years.. Love the place, will visit soon

The hotel is located very close to the Mall road and has vehicle access till the entrance. The staffs were extremely courteous and helpful. The food was also excellent. It contains a range of rooms, some in the main building and some in the annexe building across the street. There is an elevator in the latter. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities. We spent two days there, and it was a great experience.
